As part of our ongoing survey around payer treatment of prescription digital therapeutics, we take a closer look into digital therapeutics applications for diabetes management. Some of the earliest clinical software assisted in the self-management of diabetes, so we did a deeper dive into the history and current state of diabetes management digital therapeutic apps – specifically glucose monitoring and insulin delivery assistance.
